Photoshoot: CAMP at Chewacla
As you may or may not be aware, I am the President of our local IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association) Chapter and we were in need of some photographs to use in some promotional items. One promotional item in particular is a brochure, design coming soon. It was also a good excuse to get out and photograph some of the recent accomplishments and further practice my mountain biking photo skills.
Out of everything I shoot, mountain biking is always the most challenging. The lighting is always a harsh mixture of really bright highlights and dark shadows. Such is the nature of shooting in the woods. On top of the continuously changing lighting conditions, the subject matter is usually moving at a higher rate of speed, requiring a fast shutter speed. These were some of my favorite shots of the day. I hope you enjoy them!
